Green Manufacturer SYNLawn Golf announced today that
PGA Tour professional Joe Durant has agreed to a 5-year endorsement
deal with the company. The signing of Joe Durant is the third
PGA Tour player to endorse SYNLawn Golf. PGA veteran
stars Davis Love III and Paul Stankowski are also company
representatives.

on board with us. Joe is a tremendous player that has risen
through the PGA ranks to become one the most consistent players
in the game today. He finished the 2001 season in the top
15 and had four top ten finishes along with setting several
PGA records. We feel Joe is just beginning to reach his potential

The signing of Joe Durant comes on the heels
of another recent announcement that SYNLawn Golf
had signed on as an official sponsor of the upcoming Solheim
Cup. “We have focused on bringing some of the top players
on board with our company and expanding our brand name nationally
as well as internationally.” Financial terms of the
5-year deal were not disclosed.

in Top 15 on TOUR money list for first time in career.
Eight consecutive cuts made including four top-10s,
two victories and rewrote several TOUR records.
Earned more money in first nine starts of season
($1,778,672) than in entire TOUR career ($1,696,838),
which covered 128 events. Indian Wells course-record-tying
61, his career low, in round two of Bob Hope Chrysler
Classic. Fourth-round 66 lifted him to 29-under
256, establishing PGA TOUR record for most strokes
under par through 72 holes. Closing 65 brought
90-hole records for most strokes under par (36)
and fewest strokes (324), breaking marks established
by Tom Kite in winning 1993 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.
2000 PGA Tour Season: Made the best of his exempt
status as a tournament winner from 1998. Finished
among the top-10 in driving accuracy for the third
consecutive year at 79.6 percent (2nd). PGA Tour
