ORLANDO, FLORIDA, January 3, 2001 Synthetic Putting Green Manufacturer SYNLawn Golf
announced today that PGA Tour professional Davis Love III
has agreed to a 5-year endorsement deal with the company.
The signing of Davis Love III was an important milestone for
the Orlando, Florida based company
"We feel this relationship will greatly
enhance our presence on the PGA Tour and provide us the visibility
we are looking for nationally" stated a company spokesman. "With our distributor network growing across
the United States and abroad, we were looking for a spokesman
that could not only deliver our message, but deliver on Sunday
as well. Davis Love III was that choice."
The
signing is part of a national advertising campaign aimed at
increasing the companys presence in the synthetic turf

recently undergoing a complete redesign, we felt the timing
was perfect for us to begin our national campaign." Davis
Love III is the first PGA Tour player signed by SYNLawn Golf. The company expects to make future PGA Tour additions
to its team. Financial terms of the 5-year deal were not disclosed.
SYNLawn Golf is a division of Universal
Turf, Inc. The company manufactures synthetic putting green
turf for the home and commercial market as well as other golf-related
products. The company is one of the most recognized brands
